Below is my tracking info on my new Macbook Pro (I'm in Ontario), my apologies for formatting. Any ideas why it went back from Canada to Alaska Should I worry yet? And what the hell happened in China to start with?

Looks like, for whatever reason, a certain service couldn't be performed and they don't deliver to your area within a certain time I have no idea. I wouldn't worry about anything though. Can you tell us if you paid for faster shipping?

You could call UPS and find out what's up, but I wouldn't be too worried. My new MacBook Pro is shipping from China, too.

Anyway, it could be a lot worse.

Yes I did - it cost 40 CAD I believe. My theory is that the mess in Europe caused some sort of a domino effect and their whole network is struggling. That would maybe explain the China bit. I'm really stumped by return to Alaska though...

I think they were manufactured in China, and since they were just updated, they haven't made it to the warehouses in the US and elsewhere, so they ship directly from China instead. I didn't pay for expedited shipping, but Apple gave it to me anyway, so I'm not complaining.

The new MacBook pro 13" we ordered for work just shipped from China also. Should be here friday according to UPS
