My Mail App has just duplicated every email i have

I have just set up about 20 rules for various folders in my Mail APP, But it has duplicated every email i have!

Anyone have any idea why this would happen, and how to get rid of the duplicates without having to go through them manually (there are about 2000)

Did you tell the Mail rules to copy or move the messages...?
