My Mail's curved Reply arrows aren't working. Ideas?

Hi all,

I've noticed lately that the curved arrows that indicate a msg has been replied to aren't working. They still indicate a reply but if I click on them once, nothing happens. If I click twice, the original msg opens.

What should happen is that I click on it and my reply opens.

Is this a known bug? I'm finding it quite annoying, especially for older emails.
