My MBA stops charging

It's so weird. I start it up and plug in the charger. After 1-3 hours it's starting to drop battery...

I've tried several power outlets in our home, same either way. Charger is obviously the one that came with my MBA. Brand new 2 weeks old MBA.

It’s the battery health management feature in Catalina.

They should've done a better job explaining this with a label on status bar

I admit I too found it confusing at times and I consider myself rather tech savvy
