Dear All,
This morning I received a call from my family... they told me that the screen of my MBP, sitting peacefully on the desk, with its lid closed, was completely broken by fallen objects from the top of my shelf :-(
The "lucky" part is that the harddisk seems to be intact, as the machine can still boot into mac os x (through the very small part - about 1/4 of the screen which has not been broken), i will try to connect it to my HDTV to backup everything thru time machine tonight...
and I probably have to go to buy a new MBP after work tonight
as Apple Care surely doesn't cover this tragedy...
Mine was a 2010 MBP 15" 2.66GHz i7...should I go to by the new top MBA or the 2011 MBP?
