I am using skillport as a portal to continue my foreign language training through Rosetta Stone. I am using a MBP. Safari can not access the site but mozilla is able to with no problems. My good friend has an imac and his safari will access the site with no issues. I have un-installed safari and re-installed it with updates. I have no clue what is going on. I can continue to use Mozilla but I paid to use my MBP with Safari. Any ideas?

You might check to see if you have ad-blockers or other add-ons that are interfering, as well as firewall settings.

I have disabled pop-ups. I have taken it to a few "mac gurus" and no solution.

I must add that when I bought my MBP in Oct 2008 Safari would run it fine. The hard drive crashed on me within a month and was replaced. Since then... will not work.
