It's normal for all MacBook Pros to experience a little wanderlust at some point in their lives.

My MacBook Pro took the same route as yours, I presume that it's common for the new MPB's to be shipped via that route.

No it doesn't go from China to Germany back to China. That little section means it is sending paperwork and data about the package to Germany in anticipation of the package arriving there. So it smoothly goes through customs.

Ok, but I still find it strange that it has to go through Korea, Kazakhstan and Poland...

This guy in another thread summed it up...

And for those wondering why UPS and other logistics firms are flying our Apple products through a zillion airports before reaching us, you need to remember that these companies are not passenger planes flying into every major airport.

The reason your delivery prices are often quite low is that they will fly to airports with suitable cargo hub facilities and often use smaller, regional aircraft, particularly around Europe to take it to a final destination country. That's why you wont see a package being shipped direct on the BA flight from Shanghai to London Heathrow, for example.

Mine has gone through the same process.

Wow. And to think we have users in the US who don't want to wait a few days for CTO machines.

Try 4 months!

Haha no, In the UK we display dates differently: DD/MM/YYYY whereas in the US its obviously MM/DD/YYYY. So its 4 days not 4 months :p

I waited over a month for my 2010 MBP..

It went from USA to England to Danmark and then to my country, Iceland.. 1st time it got lost somewhere in Danmark so I had to reorder and then the tax paper got lost so I had to wait 3 days more to get my MBP..
