My MacBook Pro says The disk you inserted was not readable by this computer when I inserted a DVD. This is not the first time this has happened. It reads Cds that I buy from best buy like Coldplay. BTW the DVD is codename kids next door. I got it from netflix. Everytime I get a dvd this happens.

Try resetting the system's PRAM/SMC.

If that doesn't resolve the issue, then try reinstalling the OS.

If neither of those approaches work, then odds are you are inserting incompatible media or the drive is simply faulty.
