My mid 2012 and a tv

Hi guys

I have an MBP mid-2012.
I would like to connect it to my 50 inch tv. (Not airplay, hardware option).

Ive read differing opinions on how to do this, but as I really don’t know what I’m looking for, I’d really appreciate if someone could advise the best way for me to do this.

To answer your question a Mini DP (mini Display Port) to HDMI Cable would do it.
Personally though, if it’s mainly for media consumption I found an AppleTV the best option, purely for a better front end experience, but YMMV.

I have all the AirPlay options but there is a slight lag, hoping this might be a little better.
