My Mini mysteriously shuts down

On 3 or 4 separate (and apparently random) occasions in the past week or so, my Mac Mini has suddenly shut down, displaying a black screen that merely says that my computer shut down "for some reason." It then restarts and seems OK.

Any idea what might be causing this? I haven't noticed any room lights flickering or other indicators of dirty power, and the Mini itself was purchased new just a couple years ago. How should I go about troubleshooting this sort of issue?
