Hi,

The following link, suggested me to jailbreak my iphone with AppTapp.
My goal after intalling this application was to install a dictionary in my phone.
The AppTapp Installer application had a lower version than 1.1.4, (my iphone is 1.1.4).

This is the link that tells me how to install AppTapp:

This is the link that tells me how to install the dictionary by StarDict dictionaries using SSH:

In advance thank you very much for your help : ) !!!!

Look up iLiberty or iJailbreak for 1.1.4, that link is a dinosaur. You shouldn't need SSH for dictionaries, although you may want it for other things.

The dictionary program is called wedict, and you'll be able to find it once you have Installer available, along with actual dictionaries. But don't worry about this til you have everything else done.

Hi,

Thank you for your very kind answer : ) !!!

Please advice me what to do, I have a few questions:

Since I downloaded the AppTapp application my iphone's screen only shows me "an itunes icon next to the icon of the white plug for the ipod". How can I go back to what my iphone was before??

Thank you again. I'll try to download one of the suggested programs, or should I not at this point ??
