my mouse has a win8 button. how can i use it in yosemite?

there is a windows button on my mouse (logitech m557), is there a way to use it?
I have tried to set mouse button 4 through 8 as mission control trigger, didn't work.

Try using BetterTouchTool, you can customize your mouse buttons to perform any app function or keyboard shortcut you like.

You might also try these:

- Steermouse -- seems to be able to detect almost any button on a mouse, after which you can re-assign it.

- USB Overdrive -- similar app, runs in full-featured "demo mode" if you're willing to wait 15 seconds each time you open it to configure it...

i tried better touch tool, it shows as the command key. but i can't use it with keyboard. i.e. hold it + Q doesn't work..
