For some unknown reason, my mouse keeps playing up and It stops working for a while, then a screen comes up showing if its connecting or not, and then it works again, for a while, and then it doesn't work, and then it works again. All the time.
It has battery in it, so I don't understand why its doing this. The mouse/keyboard is the same mouse and keyboard that came along with my iMac. I may need to buy another mouse and keyboard. I don't know why this is happening. Please advise.

Is it a Magic Mouse 2?

I would suggest opening your bluetooth preferences, click on the items that keep disconnecting and pressing remove, then leave it a while and reconnect it again as a new device.

Also might be worth checking the battery level on the device, if it's reasonable low that could cause issues, so might be worth giving it a full charge

Hi James. Sorry for the late reply. I totally forgot about this. I would like to know, if I press remove, how do connect the mouse again, if its not working? Because the mouse is the only mouse connected to the imac. The window that opens up when you press to remove it, says that you will need to connect a usb or a bluetooth mouse or trackpad to interact with the Mac.
