My mov and mp4 movies and tv shows arent syncing to ipad!

Tv shows and movies on the ipad are enabled but arent syncing to the ipad. They are in either mov or mp4 format and when i connect the ipad it says the ipad does not support that format. The ONLY way it appears on the ipad is with home sharing but not in the ipad itself. What am i doing wrong? And also, they are 2 movies in there in M4V format but i cant put any more videos in it.

The same thing happens to me when loading home movies to the iPad2 or the iPhone4 (actually 5 of 78 did transfer). I tried the Advanced menu option "Create iPad or Apple TV Version) and it fails with a "-118xx" error (don't remember the last 2 digits). The funny thing is that the same movies work fine on my ATV2 so I should not need the conversion option.
