My MPP file doesn’t open.

Hello. I have a mpp file, and it doesn’t open. It starts to open, progress bar shows 1/4 of the way, then stops. I have let it sit for a very long time and nothing happens.
Can anybody give me some advice?

Can you do a Save-as in a MS Project format and also an xml format. It should work....
