My MSN won't open on Safari 5

I am unable to access the "My MSN" Web Page - when I attempt to access the page through my iMac. I appear to get stuck in an endless loop which prohibits my access. The same thing happens when I try to access Facebook. Coincidently enough the problem started after I downloaded Safari 5 to my MAC. Is anyone else having the same problem? Thanks!!!
