So recently I took my network down in my house and connected my computer directly to my cable modem. I still have all my itunes sharing preferences turned on from my home network.
Last night I had about 5 sources pop up in my shared music list. None of it belongs to me and I think it may be people on my ISPs network, like down the street.
Has this happened to anyone? Also, is there an app. to sniff out networks so I can see who else is around my computer?

Yeah, others have posted similar situations. Cable modems make a LAN in physical area. There isn't much you can do to find out who they are. OurTunes may give you their IP.

Well, since iTunes sharing is Rendezvous powered (right?) - you could fire up iChat and ask them! Heheh...
