My New ART Tconnect doesn't work for my guitar!!!!!!

HELP!!!!!!!!! I bought this one: http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/TConnect

I plugged it in to my electric guitar, then into USB on my Mac and...nothing.

Doesn't work with Photo Booth video mode, I don't hear ANY music...nada.

EDIT: Yes, I've already checked sound settings and ensured my guitar's volume is turned up.
