Hey all

I was wondering if I could get some insight on this. I'm having issues with my 2.5 GHz Dual Core Powermac 2G of ram. I usually do all of my recording with Pro Tools on it until these issues which may need a complete reformat/reinstall or a new drive to fix.

I recently purchased a Macbook Pro core duo 2.66 GHz with 4G of ram. Since I haven't used it much for recording since I got it I was wondering if anyone would know the comparisons between the two. Is my Macbook Pro better than my Powermac G5?

Until I can fix the issues with my G5 I may have to use my Macbook Pro for everything recording wise.

Any insight would be much appreciated.

Thanks!
