I have been draining the battery and doing a full recharge to cycle it... but is it ok to just leave it pluged in all the time with the battery in it? It's says the battery is charged so it should not be affecting the battery. Im just wondering if this is a fine practice or not?

Thanks guys and gals

It should be fine just discharge it once a month.

This could be helpful. :)

Apple Batteries

I usually leave my laptop plugged in for hours upon hours and have not noticed a drain/shortening of battery life when it is unplugged.

Just to echo the above posts, this should cause no harm at all. However, in general, it 's a good practice to discharge the battery fully every once and a while, then charge it up fully as well.
