I went to the apple store to replace my original 3G iphone from the release date, and the new ones Volume are noticeably less pertruding, they are like more inside, and less sticking out and by a lot....has anyone else noticed this

I got mine replaced last weekend, and noticed the same thing. They are much closer to being flush with the unit. The plastic case feels bigger slightly, this might be subjective.

It's funny you say that ...

I had an iPhone whose buttons "popped" out quite a bit from the casing. My new one isn't like that, and I too noticed that it seemed ever so slightly bigger.

Odd ....

Oh wow that is so wierd I though the volume controls were flatter and the phone a little bigger since the exchange

I had mine replaced this week due to poor battery performance and I agree with OP.

Wow that is the worst PhotoChop Job I have ever seen!!! I like how you put the buttons on the wrong side just to throw us off!

you've obviously never heard of a mirror

I guess I never thought some one would use a mirror when you can just take a picture of the Phone.

What is wrong with his phone? it is all nasty and then the photo fades alot?
