Rescued this from a pawn shop. 9/10 condition. I always wanted a 160 but could never afford one back when they were popular. I could do without the engraving, but whatever.

Nice score. I've had mine since December 2009 and it's still holding up, but there seems to be some dust trapped under the screen. After becoming accustomed to the Nanos, it's so hard to go back to the speed of the Classic though. I own every iPod Apple sold between September 2007 and March 2009, and I am hoping to add some more to my collection at some point down the road.

I have been on the lookout for classics, I’m very interested in doing the iflash SD card mod to my other 6th gen 80GB. It still works fine though and don’t want to break it. I too really like my 4th gen nano. Love the size.

Good luck with that mod. When the HDD in my Classic craps out, I'll probably mod it. If I break it it didn't work anyway...

I love both the 3rd and 4th gen Nanos, probably my favorite iPods. I have more memories with the 3rd gen though.

Ahh, the good old days. I still have one iPod Classic 120GB around back home. I used it for a few days, it was still holding strong. The only downside is when syncing music to it, all of my “love” are gone because iPod obviously does not support that “love” feature. Back when iPhone storage was capped at 64GB or 128GB, 120GB iPod Classic dedicated for music was pretty impressive. Now with 512GB iPhone, not anymore. But still, the feeling of holding such a device at hand is nostalgic and great.

Nice find! I have an iPod classic with the previous owner's name on the back that I use quite frequently. I just occasionally call it "Kenneth" because of it! Welcome to the iPod family, Bob!

I just got a 160GB iPod Classic at a thrift store for $7.00! Its a late 2009 MC297LL/A.
There were only 4 songs on it and the battery seems fine. I really do miss the click wheel.
