Just wanted to say hi to everyone, I just got my new Macbook. I will open it when my son takes a nap (hopefully a long nap). This is my first Mac so I will probably have a lot of questions this week. Reading this website really helped me make my choice, thanks.

Congratulations on your new purchase. You will not be sorry. ;) Good luck and have fun with it. This is a great site for advice and help. :apple:

enjoy :)

The first I did was to calibrate the screen...it looks so much better now

Welcome to the Brotherhood!:D (OK I'll change that to Sisterhood!)

Hope you enjoy your MB (short for MacBook):apple:
Post back incase of any problems and we'll try to help you out!

P.S.: Why so 'scared' of your son?:)

My son is 2 years old, and he will think of it as a toy like my HP l let him watch his DVDs on. He is not touching my MB.:p

I probably will give it to him to play with. You spend top dollar for a PC and a year later it's worthless. I am so happy I changed, and the MB isn't even out of the box yet.

ahhh... i have a 19 month old son that loves to try to play with mommy and daddy's "toys" here's to hoping he take a long nap to give you time to play!!!

I got my son on a computer at age 4 and now, at 19, he makes over $100,000/yr selling web space and designing web sites.

You'll find that your new MacBook purchase will last way more than a year. Mine is over 2 and it runs as good if not better than the day I got it.
