I just bought a new 2.5 MBP. I had to exchange it because of the buzzing from the right side and the new one is perfect.
I just put a HD movie on it and the screen is incredible. I have the glossy and the blacks are really black. Very impressive picture for a mini theatre experience. I have some Logitec Z5500s and hooked up for digital surround. Really cool.
I'm thinking about getting a sound card for when I boot into windows so I can get surround sound in games. Anyone done that?
Anyway, for the discouraged that got a bum MBP, Apple is reasonable and will accommodate you if you approach the situation with a humble and firm attitude.
