thought I'd share my latest film reel. All shot with my old canon xl2 and edited with avid on my MacBook pro.

Very good! I liked it... but (there's always a but ) I thought it might be a little long IMO. One of the clips has a soldier taking the pin out of a grenade, did you use after effects or the like for the explosion/show it? i would have liked to seen that. It also shows off your SFX skills.
Just an idea! Overall great job!

Thanks and yeah I seemed to consistently make these things longer than they should. And no, Im not a fan of using VFX. We had a real explosion but the shots didn't turn out looking great. I might reshoot at some point.
