My own benchmark of nMP and oMP

Got hold of a nMP so I did a comparison with an oMP

nMP 6core 3.5ghz D500 32GB
mMP 8core 3.33ghz GTX670 20GB

BruceX conversion to Prores 422
24 secs
1 min 25 sec

Converting the BruceX output clip in Handbreak
2.5kbps, web optimised, 2 pass, 1st pass turbo, H264
11.5 secs
15.5 secs

2.5kbps, web optimised, 2 pass, 1st pass turbo, MPEG
10.5 secs
14.5 seconds

Compressor export (using another clip)
When the nMP completed its task, the oMP was at 70%

So it seems to video works, the oMP is about 70% of the nMP

Lightroom export
When nMP completed its task, the oMP was at 80%

If you'd use a good AMD card in oMP, BruceX time would be equal or even shorter than with nMP.
