My "P" button mutes sound

Hi all,

Well this started to happen 2 months ago. Every time I type the letter "P" it mutes my sound. If I press it again, it unmutes it.

I reinstalled OS-X ~ Erasing the entire disk - and it still is happening.

Any clue what's going on?

It's a blackbook 2.2

This is VERY fustrating hearing that "pop" sound when the sound unmutes itself every time. And VERY annoying when I am listening to something.

EDIT: This only happens on the macbook keyboard, and NOT on a USB keyboard
