My brother has Vista and when he gave me a burned CD with pictures in it, my computer basically rejected it. It said that I had entered a black CD. But you can see that the CD has already been used...

And again, he gave me another CD with music files in data form... but this time my PB said that the CD I entered is not readable on this computer.

What does this mean? I've never had a problem with burned CDs with windows before... is it a setting on my computer? Or maybe on Vista?

we tried: itunes, windows media player, and vista's built in one.

we trying third party applications now...

Try using email to send the pictures. If that works, then maybe try using your iPod as a storage device to hold your music files. It worked for me when I had to transfer some video and music files that wouldn't read off of the disc I had.

Have you checked another Windows Box can read the cd? You could just have a batch of crap cds.

Also, try reducing the write speed.
