My PC died, will a Mac work?

Hello all,
My 2.24 GHz P4 just died again. This time its for good. Heat sink fell off again.
So I need to either restore it to working order, motherboard etc
or ...
Replace it with an Intel Mac.
I need to run two programs in particular : Metrowerks Code warrior for the HCS12 and Protel 99SE. I know its a bit of long shot, but .... gotta try.
Has anyone tried these under Parallels? I prefer not to dual boot.

Any help or pointers would help.

I'm fairly sure code warrior works for Macs, but I have no idea about the other. If all else fails, you can use Boot Camp, and it'll be just like a PC, only better quality.

Parallels sucks. Doesn't support as much driver as Bootcamp. Games won't recognize graphic card. Parellels f you are doing words processer, transfer files, graphic, etc.
