pc dvd+rw wont read on my powerbook G3... I have a dvd+rw on my pc... and i back up all the information on dvds... they wont read on my G3... I know toast had a hybrid that makes it compatible for both but thats burning from mac and then using it in a pc... are there programs that do it for the other way around? please help!

your powerbook has an older DVD-ROM drive that may be encompassed in the large grouping that is drives that cannot read DVD+R/RW disks. Also, since DVD+R/RW has no pledged support from Apple, it would not suprise me one bit that it does not read in your mac (on top of its age), aside from the fact DVD+R/RW is a PC only format.

well supposedly it will read them... i just need to figure out how?! my G3 powerbook was the last of the 3 that came out and my dvd-rom/cd-rom is an expansion bay... (i would buy the expansion bay dvd-rw but its 500 bucks!)
