I looked at my phone this morning and noticed something different: now it says AT&T instead of Cingular. Obviously, I knew this was coming, but I'm a little surprised at how long it took.

So my question is to you, former Cingular users, how long has your phone proclaimed that it was part of AT&T's network? Just how late/early to the game am I?

Prolly just on time, my phone hasnt changed yet, but mine is unlocked so im not sure if it will change..though i would really like it to. Two friends phones just switched a couple weeks ago or so.

Mine still hasn't switched, but my brother's phone and my mom's phone switched 2 weeks ago.

Technically, Cingular doesn't officially become AT&T until July 1.

My Samsung A707 Sync switched over to AT&T in April or May, but it got stolen earlier this month :(. Now my old SE Z500a switched over to AT&T when I reactivated it after my A707 got stolen, probably because of the AT&T SIM card. My mom has the same Z500a, but hers still says Cingular.

So yeah, your phone is a little slow. :p
