I usually stay away from New Years Resolutions, but I made a soft one for 2016, produce more personal photo & written content. As a freelancer you tend to spend a lot of time working to make someone else's dream come true. It's a necessary step not just to make a living, but to keep the creative community thriving, but it leaves a lot of your work dead on the vine.
The Wonderful Women I Know was my way of doing the latter while providing myself a necessary creative outlet. I will be profiling a different female artist every month doing my best to spread the knowledge of their talent with my creative circle.
My first subject is Brooke Pelczynski, a 24-year-old illustrator based in Brooklyn, NY.
