I updated my iMac yesterday from .1 to .2 and the pictures I've taken on my iPhone haven't appeared in Aperture.

Switched off My Photo Stream in Aperture and then back on and it would appear it's not syncronising anymore.

Anyone else notice this, and yes I know, Aperture died some time ago but until yesterday it was still doing everything I needed it to do!

You can probably do all you need in the photos app now after they added many more edit functions

I had another look at it when 10.13 was released, but it's still lacking some of the key things I use in Aperture. The main issue is the lack of any control over where the files are stored, as I have recent ones in the Aperture library and older ones referenced to a different drive.

Not having pictures syncronise between my iDevices and Aperture will force me to Lightroom and some other way of getting the pictures onto my Mac rather than Apple Photos :(

This just started working again, so panic over! Really do need to move away from Aperture when I next get some free time. I use ownCloud, which will automatically sync my iDevice photos to my Desktop and Laptop, so need to move to Lightroom and build a new workflow...
