My PhotoBooth wont open :S

I've had PhotoBooth with my Intel iMac, since i've owned it. It's worked in the past, but now it wont open. The dock icon bounces once, and then stops. Does anyone know a fix, or where i could get a copy of photobooth? Or even if anyone else has this problem..

I've tried openning with rossetta, it doesnt work. My iSight still works (iChat), and i havent done anything to PhotoBooth that i know of.

Try repairing disk permissions (found in disk utilitty)

no luck, so i had to archive and install. not a major problem, but now my recent pictures are all gone from the menu. Does anyone know of a way to re-build the recents.plist file so that they all show again??
