Is there any way to get around this?

I have mildly high res photos that look terrible when you zoom in a little bit, is there any way to get around iTunes stupid converting junk?

As an alternative, I'm trying to get my bleach manga on my iPod touch.

I just did an iPhoto album for each comic, is there a way to convert a folder of images sorted by name to pdf so I could use them with stanza?

The best way around it, I've found is to email yourself the pictures at an email-sized quality (which should be easy enough) and the Touch won't compress the images. However, too high and you'll have the Touch crashing every time you try and open the photos :(

i have a 10 megapixel and an 8 megapixel cameras and can import full high-res photos onto my touch from itunes with on problems, to you have the hi res option ticked?

I was unaware of that option! Thanks, seeny!

How are the picture load times on 10MP on the Touch?

Just to be clear.... that option keep the high res quality of picture? So that when you zoom in, the picture is still crisp?

i think your right therealmrbob i’ve just done a very basic test and zoomed to the max and it's not that good :-(, i don’t even have the import hi-res option that i used to have?

i’m going to try and import a couple of screen shots

they don't look quit that bad on the touch

i know i didn’t imagine it there used to be a hi-res option at the bottom of the photo options?

think it must have been taken out of the latest itunes??

Oddly enough the same does not happen when you enlarge an image in Safari. some have speculated that this is some form of DRM. Google "grainy photos" and "Ipod touch"

i tried email a photo (same one as i posted) and it look good in the mail but when i saved it and looked it was blurred?
