My powerbook forces restart!!

Hello,

I'm been using my 17" powerbook, and lately when I'm playing a game, or surfing the internet, or reading email, the screen will darken, and comes up with a window telling me I must restart my computer, and I have to hold the button down.

After restarting, I can file a report to apple, but it never goes through. I'm not sure why this is happening. It only appears to happen when I'm running on battery power, not when it's plugged in.

I have the 1st generation 17" model, 1GHz.
