my powerbook g4 screen problem

i ordered my pbg4 15in on the dec 2nd i am just wonder.. if the moniter line problem been fixed yet.. because i just notices the moniter line problem right now by reading on forums.

and my model serial no or wutever it is which i dunno the first four 5 digits which i belive is the model or serials of the thing...

if i do have the probelm how can it be fix because i am a designer.. this problem will really affects my work....

Well you know, to quote a nice little adage, you're just going to have to "suck it and see".

For all my effort, I’ve been round my local Apple Store and just can't see the lines on the new PowerBooks. Some people (now rather famously) think they're like small runways (!) whereas i can't see them.

The very best thing for you to do would be to use the thing for a few hours, doing what you'll be doing day in day out and see if the problem is there, and if it bothers you.

if the answer is "It doesn't bother me" then stop worrying and enjoy your PowerBook!!

You can return it and get a 17" or a 15" refurb of the older model.
