Sorry to bother you all.
I have been using an hp deskjet 6122 with my imac G3 500mhz for a long time. I recently updated the imac to osx 10.2.8 from 10.1, and this has for some reason stopped the print queue. I dont know what to do about it. The odd thing is, the printer is definatley connected. I know this because if i run the hp test software, the 6122 is fine printing test pages, alignement checks and all that. Printing anything else results in the following message:
Opening printer connection......
and then quite simply 'jobs stopped'
Try pushing the start print queue button and precisely the same thing happens again.
I have tried uninstalling, deleting it, shutting down, restarting, unplugging, reinstalling (in all orders!)
I would be really grateful if someone could help me out, as it is starting to cause me some real problems.
Oh, by the way, i have tried another hp printer: model 3144 or something. Exactly the same sequence of events happened with that.
God bless you
