I won't mention size because that is dependent on your tastes and should be tried in store. I bought a 64 gb silver iPhone plus through apple and had no issues with delivery or packaging.
Fit and finish is typical apple and looks better in person. I think the lines on the back of my silver version don't look as prominent as they do in pictures. The camera bump is really tiny. It doesn't bother me at all. The screen flowing over the edge is a design feature that is long overdue. It makes the screen feel bigger than it actually is which makes getting a case a very hard choice because I don't want to mess with the ergonomics.
I think Apple using the new reachability function is revolutionary and will probably be copied in the next week by a certain company that I won't mention. The screen is absolutely amazing unless you are in an app that hasn't converted to the larger screen. They look really big and silly to me. I am very happy with the keyboard but it takes getting use to in landscape mode. Some of the keys are in different spots, like the backspace key.
I am most impressed with the speaker. I think it sounds rich and is louder than the 5s. The camera raises the bar pretty high. I had a Nokia 1020 and loved the camera but the one on the 6 plus focuses faster, snaps faster, and the colors are very accurate. Video is better than anything that I have used. I also think Apple was very conservative with its longevity numbers. I unplugged at noon and it's almost 7 hours later. I have been using it constantly and I am sitting at 61%.
