My Recent Purchase

Hi All,

I need some quick advice,
I have committed to purchase a new black macbook (core 2 Duo) with 2 GB ram and 7200 100GB drive that i will swap in plus an external SATA case so the 5400 can be the external drive, along with a 23" HD screen.... (how amazing are the prices now) and eyeTV too with a iPod HIFI, iPod and Express... however.... there is where im in a bit of a pickle!! Do you think i NEED the Express... or am i just doing too much of a shopping spree!!! please let me know as i need to finalise order by tomrrow morning (11 hours away!!!)

Do you have a wireless access point already?

Regardless, I would place the AirPort Express as a much higher priority than the iPod Hi-Fi, unless you really want to take the iPod Hi-Fi on the road. I'd much rather play my tunes on a real stereo from iTunes via the AirPort Express than plop my iPod into an overpriced docking station with speakers.
