I'll keep it short. My Philips DVP642 DVD player died. I bought it because it played NTSC/PAL discs, had an easy region hack, and was cheap.
I want to try another brand. I've narrowed it down to Pioneer, Sony, or Samsung. I'll be hooking it up to a Dell 2407WFP. The DVI port is HDCP compliant and I already use it with a Samsung HDTV set-top-box. Thinking about a player with HDMI output. Waiting out the whole Blu-ray/HD-DVD war.

Here are my options:
DTVcity.com
RegionCodeFreeDvd.com
BombayElectronics
Anyone want to warn me about these resellers or recommend others?

I have accounts at YesAsia and PlayAsia, but they typically sell the Hong Kong version of name brand players and I'd rather just buy modified US hardware.
