My rMBP replacement is here

Got my SG 1.2GHz MacBook today and I doubt I can add much to what has already been said on the forums. Some quick thoughts

1) The screen is gorgeous. I'm running it scaled at "More Space" which is 1440x900 and its perfect for me.

2) The trackpad is magic. Force touch will require some getting used to though.

3) The Keyboard is the biggest change for me. The larger size of the keys and the shallow clicking will need some time to get comfortable with.

4) Performance seems quite zippy for normal usage. I'm travelling with it so won't have time to compare FCPX to my 2013 rMBP.

5) Did get a bit hot during initial setup but I guess that was expected.

Loving it so far.

How's it performing compared to your 2013 rMBP? That's my current device and I'm waiting on the rMB.

Feels about the same as far as the usual operations are concerned. Maybe a tad bit more laggy when moving between full screen apps etc. but really nothing to complain about. Will put it to more test with FCPX when I can.
