my rMBP takes a while to lock onto a wifi signal?

This used to happen immediately and now since the upgrade, sometimes takes 1 minute or not at all?

Is this a failing wifi board or hopefully something Apple can fix with a update?

I don't feel it is anything to do with my wifi router because 3 iPhones, iPad, and a Xbox all connect perfectly fine.
