My screen is to sensative

Advice please, my screen is to sensative when I make or receive a call when the phone goes to my ear it most always switches to eithe MUTE or Speaker how do I solve this one. The phone has been replace so is this the norm.

The screen should switch off when you hold it up to your ear, preventing problems like this.

Is it in a case? Some cases can block the proximity sensor that turns off the touchscreen when you hold the phone to your ear.

If it's in a case, try it without and see if it still happens.

I have done as you said and it works a treat, i will modify case many thanks for your help and advice merry xmas
