My screen seems to be broken

My MacBook Pro retina 13' from late 2012, screen has a thick black vertical line down the screen with some thin coloured lines next to it with another smaller thick black line. Though when I took a screen shot and then looked at the screenshot there was nothing. I literally have no money and mum can not know at all. Full stop. please help.

It stays that way the whole time no matter the temperature.

Could be a cable problem, if you're lucky. Otherwise likely to be your GPU giving out. Are you near an Apple Store? They could diagnose it for free. You can run the hardware check, but it seems to seldom to find an issue in these cases:
