iPod touch My serial starts 1C738

I have seen many people say theirs start with 9c, but does this mean mine is going to be ok? (despite the 1.1.1 patch being released). Also does this mean i have a week 38?

I just read that the 9C , 1C etc bit refers to the factory it was built in.
