My sister just bought a MacBook Pro

Did she make the right decision ? It is for her job. She may do very light graphic work like flyers maybe if that. No heavy graphic art really.

She was thinking of a Macbook air instead but I told her the cooling sucks on it.

The Pro and Air would probably both work for her needs. By going with the Pro she got some extra power/graphics and some better cooling in a package that is also extremely compact and light, plus a better screen and speakers. So I'd say it was a solid decision, especially given how common videoconferencing is in the workplace, and how these apps can be a little resource-intensive.

BTW she got the 16 GB version with 1 TB SSD.

A "flyer" can be heavy as hell so the 16" is unquestionably a better choice.
