After typing it in myself (I hope this is the right link), I find that the first image you see is way to big. On my 20" Apple Cinema, the image was bigger than my fist. I think that you divided the main areas into thirds, which I don't care for, but is fine. You may want to consider a 20/60/20 design. Otherwise, it looks like you have a good website.

I aggree! The image is way to big but it is still new and I am working out some more serious bugs....

You know of any way to get members though? That is the hard part!

The members part is very tricky for some, easier to others. Your website needs meat to it, as a roaming person you can't really find out what it has to offer once you are a member. Also, add something to every online signature. Here alone you will get plenty of hits, and then people may be interested. Offer something that others don't have, such as the humor. The 404 error is great. Good luck, it'll take time. My own website is still in development since January, and I'm slowly getting some regulars. You'll get there .

I like the overall design, but agree that the monkey should be smaller. Hopefully, he'll be able to post some content soon.
