My speaker is alot louder with new update is yours???

My speaker volume has always been set to the max...Now after the update I have it set to 3 dots......Thats right 3 dots and plenty loud....has anyone else had this result...

It's a bit louder. Nothing major. I also noticed my white dots have disappeared

My speaker is louder but like whether my ipod is at half volume or at full the volume is the same, like it never gets louder it just stays the same...anyone else having this happen?

I have noticed NO volume increase at all.

This is a problem when I lose my special ringtone that I made to be as laud as possible. It is hard to hear the phone ring when I am at work, a problem I did not have with my old phone.

The loudspeaker isn't much louder but the ear receiver almost blew out my eardrum.

I compared both my iPhones, one with the 1.1.1 and other with 1.0.2

Made a call on speaker, played ringtones, songs, etc. It is considerably louder.

Especially the ear receiver.

Agreed! the EAR receiver IS louder but speaker/alert/ringtone remains wimpy!!

It seems louder to me but when I was watching some youtube videos it didn't seem loud enough.

ok, this is totally odd. the first time it installed 1.1.1 I called the local time and temp and the speaker phone was already at max. so was the receiver...

so I just did a restore and now when I made my first call both the speaker phone & receiver where at half. So I cranked them up and it's better but not anywhere near nextel levels.

the actually ring is still the same as before though. if I could get it to ring as loud as the iPod I'd be really happy. I missed 2 calls today and this is getting a little frustrating.

the only thing I did different, instead of choosing the option to restore I choose to start new. Again I don't know if this is pure coincidence or it actually worked.

It is significantly louder on mine, however it is also significantly distorted!
