My speechmark key wont work!

Hi guys, all of a sudden my speech mark key on my keyboard wont work. the computer is less than 6 months old too..which just really pisses me off. Nothing has been spilt on it, no dust ( i dust it often) no kids have been banging on it..what on earth could be going on? any tips maybe on how i can fix this problem myself?

any ideas would be great thanks.

cani maybe pop the key off and take a look under it? im scared of breaking it tho lol

Boot from your restore DVD and open Terminal from the Utilities menu. Try to use the ' key in the terminal window, which will determine whether it's a software or hardware issue.
